Finally, one month after beta release and introduce new awesome features, Nakivo 6.2 has been released with lot of new features, improvements and bug fixes.

As you may know, Nakivo Backup & Replication (NBR) supports multiple transport modes such as NBD (Network Block Device), NBDSSL, SAN and Hot Add (from Nakivo 6.1 and above).

Nakivo released Backup & Replication 6.2 offering some new exciting features mainly focused on improved Amazon Web Services (AWS) integration.

NAKIVO Backup & Replication v6.2 enables backup, replication, and recovery of paid EC2 instances sold through AWS Marketplace.

Nakivo appliance enables browsing, searching, and recovering Microsoft Active Directory objects directly from backups. This is an agentless feature and does not require installing any additional software.

NAKIVO Backup & Replication provides us the ability to replicate VMware Virtual Machines by creating and maintaining an identical copy of the source VM/Instance at the target location.

With Nakivo Backup & Replication you can store backups to AWS (Amazon Web Services) Elastic Cloud Compute (EC2) environment. This solution increase the data protection allowing the administrators to follow the 321 backup rule.

I wanted to setup NGINX as a reverse proxy for Nakivo backup so I could install a custom SSL certificate. I don't know Tomcat well enough (or at all) to set it up via that, so I decided on NGINX.
