NAKIVO Backup & Replication v7.4 adds automated VM failover using replicated VMs in a DR site, along with a near-instant automated failover job. The product can recover accidentally deleted or corrupted files directly to their source VMs, or to a different location. The fast recovery is performed from deduplicated VM backups, without having to recover the entire VM first.

When I write about backup, I often mention legacy backup. While legacy backup is known to many, there are still people who are not aware of the term or the downside of using it - especially if it is still in production.
